2. Where are you located?

4. How do I know who will be the wedding photographer for my wedding day?
All Alan Khan’s Wedding Photographers are highly trained and have been working for the Sydney Studio. Once a retainer is received at our office. The wedding photographer is then assigned and secured for your wedding date.
5. How many wedding photographers come with your packages?
Alan khan provides one wedding photographer with every wedding photography package. An additional candid wedding photographer is available with every wedding photography package for additional fees. The candid wedding photographer utilizes a high resolution digital camera with unlimited exposures transferred to CD-ROM for presentation. All digital images can be printed at a professional lab or even at home using photographic paper.
6. Do your wedding photographers charge for travel, hotel or car rental?
Yes there is a Travel and accommodation fee based on the time of the year.
7. How many hours of wedding photography coverage will I receive on my wedding day?
Alan Khan Sydney Wedding Photography does not charge by the hour. All wedding photography is performed / shoot by the package and allows unrestricted movement from one location to another without additional charges.
8. When will I receive my wedding photography proofs?
All wedding photography proofs are ready within two weeks after the wedding day.
9. How long does it take for the wedding photos - enlargements to be processed and returned?
Alan Khan Wedding Photography will process all wedding photos - enlargements in 30 days from receipt of delivery. Please allow for 10 business days for prepaid shipping.
10. I want a combination of both color and black/white for my wedding photography, is that possible with Alan Khan?
Alan Khan Wedding Photograper uses two cameras for your wedding and shoots a combination of color and b/w determined by the bride and groom. As an added photography service, we can also print all color film in black / white for a nominal cost of $ 10 per roll - 24 EXP.
11. I am having a late wedding ceremony, can we have a photography package of the bride and groom, bridal party and family prior to the late afternoon or evening wedding ceremony without extra charges?
Alan Khan Photography does not charge by the hour and encourages couples to take as many photos as possible during the mid afternoon - prior to the wedding ceremony, allowing for more photography time with family and friends later.
12. What type of equipment does your company use to photograph weddings?
Alan Khan Photography uses professional Canon digital and 35mm products to maintain consistency for all wedding photo sessions.
13. What is the difference between wedding photography proofs and contact sheets?
Wedding Photography Proofs are regular photos sized 4 x 6 in matte or gloss format compared to thumbnail images on a sheet that some wedding photographers use to sell more pictures to the Bride and Groom after their wedding date. Sydney wedding photographer, Alan Khan provides unmarked wedding photos proofs for family to share.
14. How many proofs will I receive with Alan Khan Sydney Wedding Photography?
Alan Khan Sydney Wedding Photography will take 175 - 475 Exposures on your wedding day - dependent on your wedding photography package. All color exposures will be printed three times - three sets for sharing your wedding photos - i.e. 475 Exposures = 1425 Proofs
15. Will the wedding photography proofs be printed in Matte or Gloss?
Alan Khan Wedding Photography can print the proofs in either format - matte or gloss - it is determined by the Bride and Groom prior to the wedding date. Most wedding photographers recommend Matte for color wedding proofs and matte for b/w wedding proofs.
16. Are the wedding proofs marked, stamped or do they have the copyright logo on the wedding photos?
No, all proofs are presented to the Bride and Groom free of any markings or copyright stamps - your wedding photos will be clear and pristine.
17. My parents are divorced and we will need a second set of wedding photos, is that possible with your wedding photography packages?
I want to give a set of my wedding photos to my Grandmother or Godmother is that possible? Alan Khan Photography can print a second set of wedding pictures / proofs on request for $ 300.
18. Who pays for shipping and how is it shipped?
Alan Khan will pay for shipping anywhere in Australia, all items are shipped with tracking number.
19. What style of wedding photography do your photographers take?
Alan Khan Sydney Wedding Photography has staff that are qualified to take Candid, Photojournalistic and Traditional wedding photography styles dependent on weather, wedding party size, first or second marriage, and cooperation level with Bride and Groom.
20. How long should I plan for the post wedding photography pictures - called formals?
Between 1 - 2 hours allows the wedding photographer to achieve their goals ... a plan that works for most wedding parties.
21. Should I make a list of my desired photos for the wedding photographer?
Alan Khan Wedding Photography requests a list of photos of family combinations and desired Bride and Groom shots to insure all wedding photos are to be taken. In the past, some clients have cut out photos from magazines to insure the wedding photographer had an illustration of the desired shot on the day of the wedding.
22. Can I customize the wedding photographer packages to meet my budget?
Alan khan Wedding Photography will reduce or increase the cost of the wedding photography package to meet your budget. For example, enlargements and proof book-albums are sometimes deleted or rearranged to meet the desired level. Sometimes the thank you photos are deleted.
23. I want two wedding photographers for my wedding one shooting the traditional and required shots and the other shooting candids and photojournalistic styles, is that possible?
Alan Khan Sydney Wedding Photography has custom wedding photography packages where the second wedding photographer shoots unlimited digital exposures / files for the day / evening and transfers the files to CD or DVD.

Alan Khan Wedding Photography will contact you when we receive your retainer / deposit and assign your desired wedding photographer at that time.
26. What are your retainer / deposit fees for your wedding photography packages?
Alan Khan Wedding Photography will assign a photographer when a retainer amount of $ 1000 is received to secure our services for a specific wedding date.
27. When do we pay the final balance?
The final balance is paid four weeks before the wedding date..
28. Does your company have any online wedding albums or digital CD-ROM transfer services?
Alan Khan Sydney Wedding Photography provides all clients with an online private album of their favourite 50 photos. These photos can also be transferred to CD-ROM.
29. Do you offer any discounts for Fridays, Sundays or Non Saturday weddings for your weddding photography packages?
Alan Khan Wedding Photography is pleased to offer a $ 100 discount and complimentary CD-ROM transfer for all non Saturday clients.

Some packages include your favourite 50 wedding photos online in private accessible only by pass-code for viewing with friends and family. 34. What happens if my wedding photographer gets sick, is injured or leaves your wedding photography company?
Alan Khan Photography and video provides our clients with two options, refund your retainer or select another wedding photographer to provide the photography services for your wedding date.
35. Does your wedding photography company carry liability insurance?
Alan Khan Wedding Photography & Video insures its staff for third party liability as we are operating on public and private property.
36. Does the wedding photographer require a meal for the wedding packages?
It is recommended that the couple provide a meal for the wedding photographer as speeches and candids occur during this time. If a meal is not provided, the wedding photographer will take a leave for 60 minutes.
